UX DESIGN CONSULTANT, Fusion Alliance, Indianapolis, Indiana
 

  • Currently UX lead for a global initiative to establish a multilingual, multi-country, one-stop-site for Lilly patients to get information on their medication and devices, reducing calls to local call centers. 

  • Designed Information Architecture for a single sign-on portal for all of Lilly’s Canadian product sites to ensure healthcare professionals can move seamlessly from one site to another and also access customer facing brand sites. Designed all websites within the portal with a mobile-first approach.

  • Designed a responsive event listing and management interface for healthcare professionals to manage, track and view webinars on the go.

  • Reorganized navigation and content of Lilly’s supplier site (https://www.lilly.com/suppliers) to make requested information easier to find and navigate.

  • Evaluated interfaces for accessibility compliance and suggest improvements.

  • Designed multiple multilingual Lilly brand websites as part of the company’s Enterprise Web Initiative utilizing the Lilly Design System.

UX and UI DESIGN CONSULTANT, OneAmerica, Indianapolis, Indiana

  • Redesigned content hierarchy, navigation and login experience of the OneAmerica.com website. 

  • Designed the “Small Business Solutions” (SBS) web experience for OneAmerica (OA) brokers to generate quotes, download documents and submit sold cases directly to the OA server. Brokers previously used a XLS document that was cumbersome to use and often froze during calculations, then had to email OA for all other steps in the process taking weeks of back and forth. SBS ensures quicker turnaround and self help for brokers, making the entire process seamless and easily available on the go.

  • Developed user experience, APIs, interactions and interface design for the Pension Plan, to move from paper to a self-help online portal where participants can manage their pension plans online, reducing calls to customer service and saving 15-20 mins of time spent per phone call. It also allows customer service agents to assist participants with their transactions.

  • Designed customer experience for OneAmerica’s Web Security Enhancements project aimed at tightened web security via single sign-on and multi factor authentication to prevent cyber crime. Revisited database usage and proposed changes to ensure customer’s PI and account is secure.

  • Designed the first fully-online Evidence of Insurability experience in the industry, resulting in quicker approvals and reduced paperwork. Regularly met with stakeholders to collect business requirements, showcase high fidelity wireframes and provide detailed functional specifications for developers.

UX and UI DESIGN CONTRACTOR, Cummins Inc., Columbus, IN
 

  • Developed Guidanz™ Mobile, a native mobile app that integrates Cummins’ legacy INSITE program and Service features into a mobile app. Providing UX and UI support including information architecture, task flows, wireframes, low fidelity prototypes, UX specifications and collaborating with on-site and off-shore developers. Collaborated with the Service team to understand business
    requirements and get customer feedback. Conducted usability tests with customers at Cummins Distribution sites and create reports.

  • Developed an eCommerce Cummins Marketplace™ website to allow customers to buy Cummins products and subscriptions online. Created a single sign-on experience with multi-level security working with 3rd party vendor’s Identity Management system. Gathered business requirements from team leads and collaborate with developers to establish information architecture with low fidelity wireframes.

  • Information architecture, UX and UI support towards redesigning the Integrated Calibration Development (ICD) program for better integration
    of its engine calibrating functions with heuristics evaluations and using industry best practices to ensure ease of use and support multi-calibration features.

  • Defined enterprise-wide Mobile Standards wiki pages consisting of style guides, navigation, reusable components and naming conventions for consistency in branding for all Cummins mobile apps.

INDEPENDANT UX and UI DESIGNER, Indianapolis, IN
 

  • Researched and developed a Project Management App:  Taskly.  The project included - user research, creating user personas, Information Architecture, wireframes for desktop, tablet and mobile, UI kit and building a prototype based on 3 MVPs of the app, using lean methodology. Conducted usability testing and set up the app with Google Analytics to track site visits.

  • Consulted with SIM Advisory, a consultancy firm in Chicago to re-evaluate website goals to ensure correct branding and messaging comes across, keeping usability and UX design principles in mind. Delivered user research, redesigned sitemap and delivered a complete UI kit for the company brand.

  • Co-founded an online retail company, specializing in South Asian inspired
    custom stationery, using eco-friendly papers and wind powered
    printing technology.

  • Conducted user research to define personas that were key in the website design to not only showcase the products but also ensure ease of ordering and inquiries.

  • Designed and managed the company website from concept to completion including the site map, task flow, wireframes, POC and the finished website. Conducted user testing to identify pain points and improve online experience.

     

Nov 2007 - April 2008

CREATIVE DIRECTOR, Murray Feiss Import LLC, NY
 

  • Part of Leadership Team critical to company’s vision and brand positioning. Redesigned company’s brand guidelines to reflect a modern business and design aesthetic. Coordinated design projects with the Murray Feiss office in China, local dealers and distributors.

  • Collaborated with marketing team at Martha Stewart Living (MSL) to brand, package and promote a new line of lighting fixtures to be sold under the MSL label at Saks Fifth Avenue, NY and nationwide. Scheduled advertising campaigns for various trade and consumer publications to showcase Murray Feiss and Martha Stewart Lighting products.

  • Lead the Advertising department comprising of a team of 6 designers. Managed workflow of projects across Sales, Marketing and Customer Service departments to improve approval process ensuring faster task completion. 

  • Conceptualized and redesigned company website to portray a contemporary brand image and transforming it to an effective marketing and selling tool, resulting in a 32% increase in web traffic in first 6 months alone.

  • Designed artwork from concept to completion print advertising, packaging, corporate branding, brochures, catalogs, marketing and promotional materials.
